The Dunes team participates in a lecture by videoconference with students from State High Scool Luiz Viana Filho in Nova Itarana (Brazil) about our collaboration with schools and Professor Ana Paula Lima: “Telling Stories of Dunes at School”.
During the session, the dunes were introduced from the point of view of two historians, a geographer, an anthropologist and a biologist. Giving students a wide view in the complexity and diversity that the study of dunes can have.
It was great pleasure to meet some of the students who will develop projects related to the Dunes on the other side of the Atlantic. We hope our talk made them more curious about sand piles! We are very grateful for their attention and for all the help and participation of their teachers, who gave us the joy of bring us to them.
