The DUNES Project team participates in the XI Meeting of the BRASPOR Network / XI Encontro da Rede BRASPOR, with the Roundtable: DUNES. Sea, Sand & People: Results of the Project.
The event takes place in Porto (PT) and online.

Participants: Joana Gaspar de Freitas, Monique Palma, Mihaela Tudor, Ana Marcelino e Antonio Ortega
Synopsis: The DUNES project (2018-2023), funded by the European Research Council and installed at the History Center of the School of Arts & Humanities of Lisbon, aims to make an environmental history of coastal dunes at a global level. In this roundtable, the participants, all of them linked to the project, describe the work they have been doing, talk about their case studies, discuss the advantages and difficulties of interdisciplinary cooperation and explain their expectations at a scientific and academic level. It is intended that this presentation will be a space for debate between the participants and the audience, making known the challenges faced by research in their daily lives.
